BioShock Infinite from Irrational Games is another big winner

The Last of Us, the action title from developer Naughty Dog and publisher SEGA, is the main winner of the 2014 edition of the DICE Summit Awards, which have been given to a number of high-profile titles in a ceremony in Las Vegas.

During the official show, Dan and Sam Houser alongside Leslie Benzies from Rockstar were inducted into the Hall of Fame.

The Pioneer Award was offered to Eugene Jarvis.

The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences reveals on its official site that the winners of the major categories are:

Outstanding Innovation in Gaming - The Last of Us

Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Composition - BioShock Infinite

Outstanding Achievement in Sound Design - The Last of Us

Outstanding Achievement in Story - The Last of Us

Outstanding Character Performance - The Last of Us — Ellie

Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction - The Last of Us

Outstanding Achievement in Visual Engineering - The Last of Us

Outstanding Achievement in Gameplay Engineering - Grand Theft Auto 5

Outstanding Achievement in Animation - The Last of Us

Adventure Game of the Year - The Last of Us

Action Game of the Year - Bioshock Infinite

Downloadable Game of the Year - Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons

Online Game of the Year - World Of Tanks

Mobile Game of the Year - Plants vs Zombies 2: It’s About Time

Handheld Game of the Year - The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds

Sports Game of the Year - FIFA 14

Racing Game of the Year - Forza Motorsport 5

Fighting Game of the Year - Injustice: Gods Among Us

Strategy/Simulation Game of the Year - XCOM: Enemy Within

Role-Playing/Massively Multiplayer Game of the Year - Diablo 3

The Last of Us will receive its only piece of single-player downloadable content, called Left Behind, on the PlayStation 4 on February 14.
