The PS3 game is going to receive some fresh content in the near future

The Last of Us, the stunning survival game from Naughty Dog and Sony, will be getting some fresh details about its downloadable content plans this week, at least according to staff from the studio.

The Last of Us appeared back in June for the PS3 and impressed millions of fans from around the world with its top-notch quality, its great story, and captivating multiplayer.

After releasing a new online mode for free as an update, Naughty Dog has now confirmed that it's going to share some more plans concerning DLC for the game this week.

The news was revealed by Game Director Bruce Straley and confirmed by Designer Neil Druckmann.

No word yet on what these details might be, so fans of the game, especially those anticipating a sequel, should sit tight for the following days.
