Gamers will be able to meet superheroes and battle a tyrant

Video game developer TT Games, publisher Warner Bros. Interactive and the LEGO Group are releasing a new trailer for their upcoming The LEGO Movie Videogame, which is at the moment set to arrive alongside the film of the same name on April 14.

Gamers will be able to play the experience on the PlayStation 4, the PS3, the Xbox One, the 360, the Wii U, the 3DS, the Vita and the PC.

Tom Stone, the managing director at TT Games Publishing, states, "We challenged ourselves to introduce a new element never-before-seen in any LEGO game and did that with environments made entirely out of LEGO bricks, giving players more authentic opportunities to interact with the world around them."

The LEGO Movie Videogame will be built around the event of the film, allowing gamers to control Emmet, a minifigure who is thought to be special , ready to save the world from a tyrant.

The cast includes Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman and actors contributing their voices include Chris Pratt, Morgan Freeman, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett and Will Ferrell.
