Nippon Ichi Software has revealed that a new game is cooking in their lab, a sequel to The Guided Fate Paradox set to release later this year in July for the PlayStation 3 home entertainment system.

The reveal was made in the Japanese magazine Famitsu, with Gematsu offering the translated information about Nippon Ichi's upcoming game.

The sequel, titled The Guided Fate Cross Thesis, will not only extend the original game's story, but will also feature full 3D graphics.

Its Limited Edition version will include an original soundtrack disc, with the game's background music and vocals from the game's two heroines, along with an art book.

The story centers around the same plot, as even after Satanadia fell, the evil demon's power still didn't dissipate. Heaven kept the situation under control through guerrilla warfare, using the Fate Awakening Crystal to turn the main character into a god.

The main character will face an impossible situation where either of his two close friends will die, and he will only be able to save one of them.

The game's basic gameplay will still remain focused on random dungeons, but the equipment system has been revised and will be much more easier to use now.

The Guided Fate Cross Thesis will be launched in Japan, on July 24, exclusively for the PlayStation 3.
