Nippon Ichi Software has released more screenshots for the upcoming dungeon crawler The Guided Fate: Cross Thesis Awakening, showing its fancy full 3D visuals and some roguelike action.

The Guided Fate: Cross Thesis Awakening will revolve around forcing players to make very tough choices while exploring the storyline, choices that will mold and define the characters.

Players will be involved in an ancient conflict between angles and demons, and will have to go through throngs of enemies in order to emerge victorious, being assisted by angels in various ways and having to complete certain events that will occur right in the middle of a dungeon run.

The protagonist, Shin Kamikaze, will be able to employ various attacks and make use of items and special skills, and as he will level up, he will gain access to stronger and stronger abilities and increasingly powerful equipment.

At the beginning and end of each chapter, there will be animated scenes showing how the character has grown and how the player's choices have impacted his evolution, as well as delivering the latest update on the war between angels and demons.

The game is a sequel to The Guided Fate Paradox, and will be released in Japan only, on July 24 for the PlayStation 3 platform. There is currently no word regarding a western launch of the game.
