Bethesda and Tango Gameworks confirm that the final downloadable add-on for their The Evil Within survival horror experience, The Executioner, is going to launch on May 26. In anticipation of its debut, a short teaser trailer with gameplay footage showing fans controlling the menacing Keeper is also available.

The Evil Within launched last fall across many different platforms, including PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and delivered a pretty interesting survival horror experience that focused on the eerie adventures of a police detective.

Since then, developer Tango Gameworks and publisher Bethesda have kept on releasing different expansions that added new adventures for the protagonist, as well as short side stories with new characters.

Now, the final DLC, called The Executioner, has just received a release date, via the official blog.

The add-on is set to debut for all versions of the game worldwide on May 26.

In anticipation of that release, a short but gory teaser trailer has also been revealed by the two companies.

In it, you can see just what adventures are included in the new The Evil Within add-on, as well as how players will take control of the Keeper enemy and go up against other iconic opponents from the main campaign as part of the upcoming add-on.
