The Australian Classification office has passed a rating for a game called The Elder Scrolls: Arena for a multiplatform release, which could be a potential remake of the very first game in the long-running RPG series.

The Elder Scrolls series saw the release of the massively popular Skyrim back in 2011 and will soon see the launch of its first multiplayer-only iteration, in the form of The Elder Scrolls Online.

Now, it seems that the very first title in the series might see a potential re-release in the near future, as the Australian Classification bureau has posted a listing for The Elder Scrolls: Arena.

No other details have been mentioned, but the game is listed for a multiplatform release. The actual platforms or the launch date haven't been given, however.

As of yet, Bethesda hasn't commented on this new listing.
