Developer Noumena Studios and publisher Kalypso Media are announcing that their upcoming title The Dark Eye: Demonicon is set to launch in October of this year on the PC, the PlayStation 3 from Sony and the Xbox 360.

The game uses a third-person view and action role-playing mechanics in order to tell the story of a brother and a sister who need to explore a hostile world and deal with a number of powerful entities as they shape their destiny.

In The Dark Eye: Demonicon gamers will have to make tough moral decisions that will affect the two main characters and the fate of an entire continent, according to News10.

The game is based on the Dark Eye universe and many of the choices made will influence its future state.
