Ubisoft and Ivory Tower have confirmed that the PC beta for The Crew is set to go live on July 21 and is going to include free roaming across the whole United States, not to mention plenty of missions and challenges in regions like the East Coast of the Midwest.

The Crew impressed quite a few racing game fans last year at E3 2013, promising to deliver a fast-paced online experience that was geared towards cooperation as well as competition.

Since then, the title received quite a lot of details about its mechanics, its racing features, and the size of its open world.

Now, fans will be able to get in on the action as part of a closed beta on the PC platform between July 21 and July 25.

In the beta, according to the official website, players are going to be able to explore the full map of the game that spans the United States of America.

However, only the East Coast and the Midwest sections will have missions and skill challenges available. In the rest of the country, such as the South, the West Coast, or the Mountain State, only the free roaming mode is available.

There will be two competitive Player-versus-Player lobbies for the Midwest zone and one for the East coast, while quite a few races are going to be offered to players.

The Crew is set to debut this fall for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
