The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is now available for the Xbox One, in spite of all the drama surrounding the action adventure game's release on the platform that surfaced earlier this month.

The news came from Xbox's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb's blog, announcing that Beenox's creation is now available on both the Xbox One and Xbox 360 platforms.

Earlier this month, the game's official website stealthily removed all mentions of the Xbox One version of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, also pulling the Xbox One logo. Furthermore, some pre-orders of the Xbox One edition of the game were canceled, leading the gaming community to believe that something was amiss.

Publisher Activision then announced that there were indeed some problems regarding the action adventure game's release on Microsoft's next-gen console, and that "when and whether The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is released on Xbox One is TBD."

The company then informed that they were working with Microsoft, attempting to release The Amazing Spider-Man 2 video game on the Xbox One.

It appears that their efforts were fruitful, as the game has rolled out on the Xbox One in unison with all the other versions.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is coming out on Windows PC, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in Europe on May 2 and in Australasia on May 5, and is already available in North America, as well as worldwide on iOS and Android.
