14 DAY TRIAL // Iconic brick game Tetris will be launched on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the future, as Ubisoft has gained exclusive rights to the classic experience on the new platforms.
Tetris amazed hundreds of millions of people from around the world over the years and, in honor of its 30th anniversary in 2014, Ubisoft has confirmed that it's going to bring the game to the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
The digital experience is developed exclusively in partnership with the Tetris Company, as apparently Ubisoft managed to gain exclusive rights for release on PS4 and Xbox One.
"We’re very excited to start working with this world-renowned brand, and can’t wait to combine Ubisoft’s expertise and all the capacities of next-gen consoles to create an exciting new Tetris experience for fans," Yves Guillemot, Ubisoft co-founder and CEO, said on the UbiBlog.
It's unclear just when the game will appear on the two consoles, but expect to hear more soon from both Ubisoft and the Tetris Company.
