BigBen Interactive has announced that it will be launching a new Test Drive video game, called Ferrari, which will be released on March 30, 2012, allowing players to race some of the worlds most interesting cars on the PlayStation 3 from Sony, the Xbox 360 from Microsoft and the PC.

The publisher has not offered too much information on the game, other than saying that it will make full use of the Ferrari license, which means that all the included cars will be simulated in as much detail as possible.

The last Test Drive game to launch was Unlimited, which was released during February of this year and allowed the player to explore a new island world.

It seems that development on Test Drive: Ferrari is being handled by Slightly Mad Studios, which has recently worked on Need for Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed.

In 2009, the company acquired a company called Blimey Games that was creating a game build around the Ferrari license.
