Video game developer Telltale Games has announced that it is already in the early planning stages for the second season of its episode-based The Walking Dead video game.

Before it moves all its resources to the second season, the company still has to launch the remaining three episodes of the first season and create a retail disk that will be sold at retail.

At the moment players can pick up two Walking Dead packages, A New Day and Starved for Help, and a third one is currently planned for August with the title, Long Road Ahead.

Steve Allison, who is a senior vice president of marketing at Telltale Games, has also commented on the new shooter Walking Dead title from Activision and Terminal Reality, stating, “as huge fans of the franchise and the show, we’re looking forward to seeing Terminal Reality’s game when it comes out.”

Telltale says that it has sold more than 1.8 million copies of The Walking Dead so far.
