14 DAY TRIAL // The highly anticipated first installment in the Game of Thrones episodic adventure game is nearly out, and its launch trailer aims to set the scene and highlight some of the events that gamers will be able to enjoy.
Telltale Games is launching episode 1 of Game of Thrones, the graphic adventure based on the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series of books by George R. R. Martin, tomorrow. The game, titled Iron From Ice, will be released for Windows PC, Mac and PlayStation 4. The Xbox One and Xbox 360 editions will be launched on December 3, and the iOS version will be out on December 4.
The game includes voice acting from the actors that portray the main characters of the HBO series, and will follow the same episodic format that Tales From the Borderlands, The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us use.
Game of Thrones will follow the woes of house Forrester, in control of the Ironwood Forest, in the north of the continent of Westeros, and players will be able to control five of its members throughout the adventure.
The game was first announced a year ago, at the 2013 Spike VGX video game awards. As usual, players will have to make a lot of difficult decisions which will influence future events in subsequent episodes, of which there will be a total of six.
