14 DAY TRIAL // Katsuhiro Harada, one of the leading producers working at the fighting game division at Namco Bandai, says that Tekken x Street Fighter is still in active development and that more information might be delivered to fans soon.
Apparently, his team has not talked about the game because Street Fighter x Tekken is still getting updates and they did not want to push fans away from it.
He tells Siliconera that, “It was not just Tekken fans and Street Fighter fans merging, there seems to be a whole new community growing around that title that wasn’t playing either of the titles up until that point.”
He says that the two games are very different and that the final experience will surprise fans of both fictional fighting game universes.
Tekken x Street Fighter was first announced in 2010 and is supposed to focus on mechanics associated with the Namco Bandai franchise.
