14 DAY TRIAL // Team Ninja has confirmed that a new PlayStation 4 video game is in the making, but the specifics are yet unclear.
Team Leader Yosuke Hayashi made the reveal during an interview with Dengeki, translated by Gematsu.
"First, we will release Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z for PS3 and Xbox 360, which we joint developed with the Inafune-led company Comcept. Please look forward to this ridiculous zombie x ninja game," Hayashi stated.
"Additionally, we're also developing a PlayStation 4 title internally, so please look forward to future updates," he added.
Yosuke Hayashi mentioned that the team was thinking about the next proper Ninja Gaiden game, as the third one seemed not to land very well with the series' fans, during a developer video released in December last year.
Whether this new reveal pertains to the Ninja Gaiden franchise is yet undisclosed, as it could also be another entry in the Dead or Alive fighting game series, or even a completely new IP.
