The development team at Valve in charge of Team Fortress 2 is delivering yet another update for the competitive shooter, which is unique because it introduces Robotic Boogaloo, the first expansion that was entirely created by the fan community.

All the content delivered, including 57 new items to use in the game, is developed by fans of the shooter.

Valve states on the official blog that "in a first for the Team Fortress economy, all the creators of the Robotic Boogaloo Update have decided to share the revenue earned from the sale of RoboCrate Keys."

Gamers will be able to get access to all the Robotic Boogaloo items via RoboCrates that will be dropped during matches.

Valve says that it has plans to alternate the launch of community and team-created expansions for Team Fortress 2.
