The development teams at Telltale Games and Gearbox Software are ready to deliver a full video recording of the joint panel they held during SXSW in order to reveal information about their upcoming Tales from the Borderlands video game.

The footage is pretty long, but there are quite a few hints about the nature of the coming game and there is also information about its protagonists.

Telltale Games is represented by Harrison Pink, the lead designer, Kevin Bruner, president and co-founder of Telltale Games.

From Gearbox, the panel includes Matthew Armstrong, franchise creator and director for Borderlands, and Anthony Burch, the lead writer on Borderlands 2.

The two companies state, “see the first glimpses of how this story will be told, and ask your burning questions about what might be in store in this new tale set on the ruthless, greedy, and unpredictable world of Pandora.”

Tales from the Borderlands is designed to use core adventure game ideas and an episodic structure and will allow players to see an unexplored side of the science fiction universe created by Gearbox.

The game is set to be launched in 2014 and will feature both gunplay and the unique humor of the series, all of them delivered using the proprietary style of Telltale Games.
