Tales of Zestiria producer Hideo Baba shared some new information regarding the upcoming PlayStation 3 exclusive game, in an interview with the Japanese magazine Famitsu.

Tales of Zestiria is the next installment in Namco Bandai's role-playing game series Tales, and will be the first in the franchise to focus on dragons.

The game's main character, Alicia, is a low-standing member of the royal family who chose to live the life of a knight, following her wish to protect the country and its citizens.

In Zestiria, dragons play a large role in the game's story, representing either a force of good or a power of evil, but details surrounding their effective involvement are yet scarce, as Siliconera reports.

Baba does not reveal too much regarding the game's combat system, stating only that it will be different from what players have been accustomed to, incorporating more sword play and magic fantasy, evolving the series' linear-motion system, and bringing a big surprise for the game's fans.

The game has yet to receive an official release date, but it will be launched worldwide as an exclusive PlayStation 3 title.
