Bandai Namco has just uploaded the second trailer for the upcoming Tales of Zestiria game, now in a much crisper full 1080p resolution.

The video shows the game's protagonist, Slay, dreaming of unity and peace between humans and the Heavenly Tribe, like in the "legendary era," and it provides a closer look at the recently revealed Laila.

The entire story in Tales of Zestiria revolves around a mysterious and powerful figure, a Monk that will emerge at a time of great distress, such as is the case in-game.

Slay is one such individual, and the trailer shows him just as he is about to pull the sword that will forever alter his destiny and make him carry the fate of the entire world on his shoulders.

Bandai Namco has revealed that the battle system in the game will revolve around two different type of attacks, with human characters using mostly close-range attacks and distracting attention from the members of the Heavenly Tribe, who alternate between mid-range and long-range magical attacks.

Tales of Zestiria is currently in development for the PlayStation 3, and the good news is that is has already been confirmed for release in the west, sometime later this year.
