Video game developer Telltale Games is ready to confirm that it is planning to launch the second full episode of the Tales from the Borderlands series on March 17 on most platforms, and it is also introducing a new trailer for it, designed to give fans a few hints about the adventures they will be able to experience.

They explain that "The discovery of the Gortys Project fuels a madcap race to find just what the Atlas Corporation was up to prior to Hyperion's take over of Pandora. Our intrepid heroes are not the only ones on the trail."

Gamers who get Atlas Mugged for Tales from the Borderlands will have to battle a giant monster, Vault Hunters, Bounty Hunters and Vasquez in order to reach their objective.

The studio claims that main characters Rhys and Fiona will continue to evolve as persons while delivering funny lines and trying to discover ways to evade the big threats that the world of Pandora can throw at them.

Gearbox has offered full access to Telltale Games in order to make sure that the series captures the atmosphere of Borderlands and managed to deliver an interesting take on it.

The studio has not said whether the series will have only one season and whether it will be connected to the not yet announced Borderlands 3.
