After confirming earlier today that a Tales from the Borderlands game is coming from Telltale Games and Gearbox Software, the two studios have revealed some more details about the upcoming experience.

The Borderlands games have delivered some impressive first-person shooter experiences and 2012's Borderlands 2 really expanded the universe in terms of story and content.

Now, Telltale Games, the studio behind The Walking Dead episodic series, has confirmed that it's partnered with Gearbox to create Tales from the Borderlands.

After seeing the enigmatic trailer, a video interview with the executives of both Telltale and Gearbox has appeared thanks to the VGX 2013 event.

In the footage below, the studios confirm that the game will feature both established Borderlands characters, like Handsome Jack or Marcus, but also all-new ones, like the two mercenaries seen in the announcement trailer.

Also, much like The Walking Dead series, the emphasis is on engaging with other characters, although some shooter and action sequences will be present, not to mention choices and consequences.

More details about characters and gameplay will be revealed soon enough, as we head into 2014.
