14 DAY TRIAL // Tales from the Borderlands, the upcoming episodic adventure series from Telltale Games and Gearbox Software, has just received its first actual screenshots, showing off the two main protagonists as well as the different characters they'll meet on their journey throughout Pandora.
Borderlands 1 and 2 delivered some great first-person shooter experiences, and they'll soon get a new iteration in the form of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, which acts as an in-between title for the series so far.
Besides that shooter, an adventure game is currently in the works at Telltale, with the studio behind The Walking Dead or The Wolf Among Us working hard alongside Gearbox to flesh out the Borderlands universe.
The title, which takes place after the conclusion of Borderlands 2, focuses on two wildly different protagonists, in the form of Rhys, a "scheming low-level data-miner within Hyperion," and Fiona, a "clever and classic fast-talking con-artist out to pull off the grift of a lifetime."
The two characters will offer their different takes on various adventures, and the first actual screenshots have appeared from the game's first episode.
As you can see, the main characters will meet up with quite a few already-established people from the Borderlands universe, such as Zer0 the vault hunter or T.K. Baha.
You can expect to hear much more about Tales from the Borderlands as we get closer to the release of its first chapter this summer.
