14 DAY TRIAL // The development team working on the new Super Smash Bros. is announcing that the game will include a unique trophy assist that will feature Metroid’s Mother Brain and Samus Aran.
Masashiro Sakurai, the leading producer for the title, writes on the official Miiverse service that, “Housed within the Control Capsule! Protected by Rinkas! Eyeball armed with a Laser Brain Attack!! The massive Assist Trophy Mother Brain joins the collection!!”
The Nintendo team is slowly revealing more content about the playable characters of Super Smash Bros., more about the core mechanics and the various assist trophies.
The game will be launched on the Wii U home console and the 3DS handheld and is widely seen as one of the biggest releases of the year.
Nintendo says that it will keep the core mechanics of the series, but will make it more accessible, while giving fans plenty of content to explore, although no single player is offered.
