Cyanide Studios has announced that its upcoming role-playing game Styx: Master of Shadows is heading to Windows PC and will arrive later this year.

Cyanide is the developer behind popular games such as Of Orcs and Men, Dogs of War Online and Blood Bowl: Star Coach.

The indie studio's upcoming game will be a stealth and infiltration-based affair with role-playing elements, where players fill the shoes of the first ever goblin to master the arts of slyness, as announced on Cyanide's website.

The action in Styx: Master of Shadows will take place in the Tower of Akenash, where players will have to sneak past humans, elves and orcs, in order to achieve their goal of finding the tower's untold riches.

The game's missions will feature information recovery, theft and assassination, and will require players to ascertain enemy behavior and plan ahead in order to succeed, with every objective having more routes to completion.

As players progress through the game, they will unlock new skills from the game's six different talent trees, to help them in their quest.
