Independent studio Ragequit Corporation has announced the release date for their upcoming aerial combat shooter, Strike Vector, landing on Steam on January 28, 2014.

Strike Vector is a first-person/third-person brutal aerial fighting game, developed on the Unreal Engine 3. It features fast-paced action reminiscent of old school first-person shooters such as Quake 3 and Unreal Tournament, and it includes both individual and cooperative multiplayer missions.

Players will man the revolutionary hyper-speed VTOL jet-fighter known as the Vector, a killing machine featuring two flight modes.

The Jet Mode allows for high-speed chases and interception, as well as the evading of incoming projectiles. The Stationary Mode, which players will use to hold and defend key locations, benefits from increased precision strafing in order to dodge incoming projectiles.

Vectors will be completely customizable with hundreds of combinations of payload available, accommodating very different playstyles and offering a more varied gameplay experience.

All new features the team will implement will be released as free DLC after the game launches on Steam, the event taking place January 28.
