Capcom has apparently decided to showcase its major announcement planned for the PlayStation Experience early, as the Japanese company has rolled out a teaser trailer that confirms Street Fighter V for the PC and PlayStation 4 platforms.

The Street Fighter franchise has been around for many years, dominating at first arcades and early consoles, and then slowly transforming into one of the most enduring experiences of the last console generation, in the form of Street Fighter IV, which saw different expansions come out every few years.

Now, it seems that Capcom is getting ready to debut the next stage in the franchise, as it's just rolled out a teaser trailer that highlights the series overall and ends with a surprising announcement, in the form of Street Fighter V for the PC and PlayStation 4 platforms.

Previously, Capcom teased a big reveal at this weekend's PlayStation Experience, and it seems that this is actually the major announcement it was planning.

While no actual gameplay footage is showed in the trailer, you can check out the pretty touching video embedded below.

Expect to hear plenty of actual details about its mechanics, its characters, and its visuals on the PS4 and PC in the following days. Until then, enjoy the new trailer.

Update: Apparently Capcom has pulled the video but we already have the screencaps of the logo below
