14 DAY TRIAL // The great Steam Summer Sale of 2014 might kick off soon, as a batch of "Mysterious" trading cards has appeared on the large digital distribution service, possibly tying into a new promotion that will be run during the upcoming sale.
Steam has tens of millions of users around the world and many are loyal to Valve's service thanks to the great catalog of games, not to mention the variety of other features, like the Steam Market and, most importantly, the constant sales and discount sprees.
Now, the Steam Summer Sale of 2014 might kick off soon, as some mysterious trading cards have started dropping for Steam users who craft game badges using their existing trading cards.
The new mystery items are already on sale on the Steam Market and it's possible that crafting a full set will net players different rewards for their hard work, just like in the Steam Winter Sale of last year, which awarded players with snow globes.
According to previous rumors, the Steam Summer Sale of 2014 might debut in the following weeks, and considering it's traditionally kicked off on a Thursday, it might start tomorrow, June 12, or next week, on June 19.
Update: A new promo email from PaySafe card confirms that Steam Summer Sale 2014 takes place between June 19 and June 30.
