Steam has tens of millions of users all around the world, as a lot of people use Valve's digital distribution service to acquire games but also software and other such things for the PC, Mac, or Linux platforms.
A large part of this userbase comes alive during the themed sales run by Valve, and after the big Winter one that took place at the bridge between 2014 and 2015, the long-awaited Summer one is set to begin soon.
After we heard a leak a few weeks ago confirming that the promotion was going to take place in the middle of June, PayPal has apparently decided to spoil Valve's plans ahead of time.
In a newsletter sent to users, via Reddit, the service confirms that the Steam Summer Sale of 2015 begins on June 11, worldwide, and ends on June 21.
As such, users of Valve's services should start preparing for some massive deals, not to mention all sorts of discounts on games, bundles, software, and other such things.
