Valve offered distribution via its Steam platform to 100 new titles on December 4. The collection was showcased to the public through Steam's Greenlight service, a tool meant to facilitate access to the general public for small developers.

Developers submit information and early builds for the consideration of users, who can pledge support for the games in order to make them available through Valve's distribution platform when complete.

All titles were selected after the same criteria used since the inception of the service, the number of Greenlight votes acquired. All games that passed the mark will be released independently in the following months, as they finish development.

Titles featured range from action role-playing games to baseball simulations, turn-based strategy games, first-person space shooters and platformers. Most titles are relatively small in scope and are produced by indie developers.

The full list of titles is available on the Steam Community December 4th Batch announcement page.
