The team at Valve in charge of the new Steam controller is delivering the first official video for the device, which shows off a variety of features and reveals exactly how the team plans to develop it in the near future.
The new hardware is part of a larger strategy at the company, which aims to create a number of new platforms that will be able to run Steam and the games that use its main advantages.
A number of developers have already announced that they plan to support the Valve controller, which is expected to go into testing in early 2014, with a small number of fans able to use it for their gaming experiences.
Support will be offered for a number of titles, which seem to already include Portal 2 and Civilization V.
SteamOS-powered machines and the rest of the hardware will be launched later next year.
