Video game developer Undead Labs announces that it is working on a new expansion for its State of Decay experience, called Lifeline, which is designed to expand the core mechanics of the game and add a new map for players to explore.

The team explains in the official announcement that, "All we can tell you is that it will offer you a new way to play your favorite survival game, that we intend to launch on PC and the Xbox 360 at the same time, and that yes, it will broaden your horizons by a few kilometers."

Undead Labs also makes it clear that Lifeline does not represent a final version for State of Decay and that it has plans to continue to develop the game and add new content in the coming months.

Information on Lifeline will be added in a more complex design article before the end of February.
