Gamers will get access to ships and the ability to customize them

The development team at BioWare working on Star Wars: The Old Republic announces that it is preparing a new expansion for the MMO called Galactic Starfighter which will allow gamers to take part in space battles for up to 24 players.

A wide array of ships from the Star Wars universe will be included, all complete with extensive customization options.

The company says that Early Access to the new content will be offered on December 3 and that Preferred Status Players will get it on January 14 of next year.

Those who are not paying for Star Wars: The Old Republic will be able to play it on February 4.

Jeff Hickman, the general manager of BioWare Austin, states in the announcement, "Galactic Starfighter will be a deep experience that will continue to grow over time. We can’t wait for both our current and new players to get their hands on it soon."
