All those who are playing Star Wars: The Old Republic can gain access to new Battle Droid pets as long as they manage to draft in a friend who first plays the game and then becomes a subscriber in less than 14 days.

The initiative from BioWare is designed to increase the size of the player population and bring in more revenue for the company.

The newly revamped Friends of SWTOR program also gives those who join the MMO a Jumpstart Bundle, which allows them to get experience faster and play more of the game in a shorter time frame.

Those who were previously playing The Old Republic and return to the title will get 7 free days of subscription access, a character transfer for their account and the Preferred Friends Bundle.

Recently, Star Wars: The Old Republic has got a new game update that delivers new raids against the Czerka Corporation and a new companion to recruit.
