The development team at BioWare working on Star Wars: The Old Republic is letting the player community know that all those who have a character on an Australian Pacific server should move it to another home starting on June 4.

The team writes on the official forum that, “starting on Tuesday, June 4th, you will be allowed a one-time transfer for each character you have on an APAC server to any other non-APAC server.”

After all characters are moved, the team will close down the server for good.

BioWare is also working hard on update 2.2 for its MMO, which will introduce two new high-level battles to the game and will open up more crafting and guild options.

Launch is expected to take place towards the middle of June and Star Wars: The Old Republic will then get a number of double-experience weekends.
