14 DAY TRIAL // Video game developer Digital Extremes and publisher Namco Bandai have launched a new teaser video for their upcoming Star Trek video game, focusing on the relationship between the two main characters, Captain Kirk and his Number One, Spock.
The game is designed to allow two players to work together and use the different abilities of the two core Star Trek characters to solve challenges and take on a number of enemies as they try to “stop a legendary enemy race bent on conquering the galaxy.”
The game was revealed at the 2011 edition of E3 and it seems to have received a makeover in the meantime, with more of a focus on high stakes action and explosions.
The Star Trek video game will be launched in 2013 on home consoles and on the PC and will tell a story set before the events of the new movie in the rebooted series.
