14 DAY TRIAL // Video game publisher Square Enix confirms that it is working on a title called Nosgoth, which is set in the same universe as Legacy of Kain, but will not use the same mechanics of the same structure as other titles in the series.
The company tells CVG that Crystal Dynamics is not “working on a Legacy of Kain game right now and while our game is set in the world of Nosgoth, it's very much on a separate branch to both the Soul Reaver and Blood Omen series.”
Apparently, the Nosgoth concept is not aimed at the single-player audience and an announcement will be made when the project is ready.
The game will not be shown during E3 2013.
Square Enix also says that Nosgoth opens up possibilities that are exciting for developers and players alike.
