14 DAY TRIAL // Yosuke Matsuda, the chief executive officer of Square Enix, says that he plays his company’s releases but at the same time is very passionate about first-person shooters, Western developed titles and online games.
He is quoted by NeoGAF as stating that, “I’m good at FPS games. Personally I like western games and usually I’m more familiar with online games. However there are many games that I’m said to be a ‘maniac’ of. I think i’d have trouble asking why I like those kind of games, but they just suit me.”
The executive also likes action and role-playing game experiences and is currently spending time with the MMO Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and the more classic JRPG Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.
Matsuda also boasts that until a few years ago, when he took on more leadership responsibilities, he was able to finish a game in just one night.
