The promotion includes hundreds of smaller, innovative titles

The team at Valve announces a new massive promotion on the Steam digital distribution service, called the Spring Indie Sales, which is highlighting smaller video games that are part of the Independent Games Festival lineup and are shown at the PAX East event.

The promotion will take place until March 29 and there are hundreds of games on offer, with the price cuts reaching as much as 80 percent.

A full list can be seen on the official site of the Spring Indie Sale and gamers need to check back every day to see new offers.

So far, the promotion includes titles like: FTL, the space-based roguelike that picked up many awards during 2012, The Binding of Isaac and its expansion, Castle Crashers, Braid, Darwinia and more.

Recently, Valve has introduced Early Access in order to offer more options for indie developers and their fans.
