The development team at StreumOn Studio and publisher Focus Home Interactive are delivering the first images taken from the all new Space Hulk: Deathwing, revealing the Space Marines that gamers will be able to control and the fearsome Genestealers that they will have to battle.

The protagonist of the experience is a Librarian, who has access to the information of the chapter, but also a host of powerful psych abilities that allow him to navigate the Space Hulk and take out the Tyranid enemies.

Space Hulk: Deathwing is a first-person shooter with squad elements and gamers will have to battle against Genestealer Hybrids that carry heavy weapons, a variety of mutated enemies and big and powerful Broodlords.

The game setting is based on the Warhammer 40,000 setting created by Games Workshop and the development team wants to make sure that it manages to simulate the claustrophobic experience associated with fighting inside one of the huge derelict ships that floats in and out of the Warp.

StreumOn Studio has previously worked on E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy and they will also benefit from the support of the team at Cyanide.

The new Wargammer 40,000 based title will allow players to lead a company from the feared and secretive Deathwing chapter of the Space Marines, which have long had a connection to the occult and are used to battle the most powerful threats that are assaulting mankind.

Space Hulk: Deathwing does not currently have a launch date, but it is being created using the new Unreal Engine 4 tech from Epic Games.
