The new sandbox game entitled “Space Engineers” is available on Steam Early Access and provides the opportunity to play the game and actually participate in its development by helping the developers with feedback.

This project is a game about construction and engineering, as well as the maintenance of space works. Players will be given the chance to build different space stations and ships of different sizes. You will use them in various ways, for military purposes and even asteroid mining.

The developers have created the game by inspiring from reality, meaning the game follows the laws of physics using technologies that can be seen in the NASA program.

Although Space Engineers mostly focuses on construction, one can still play it as a tactical shooter. If you please, you can engage in direct man-to-man combat, but it would be much better to rely on what you know best and that is engineering. Build war machines and fortifications to defend yourself.

Therefore, one can see that this project is more about the machinery you can build rather about its troops.

Among the features that are available in Alpha, players will be able to build in creative mode meaning they will have unlimited resources, have character animations, world management and many more.

The game is currently in the alpha stage of development and it is constantly improving. Players that want to buy the game can do so by purchasing it via Steam at $13.99/ €13.99.
