14 DAY TRIAL // Developer Obsidian and publisher Ubisoft have not been eager to show off the actual gameplay of their upcoming South Park: The Stick of Truth, but a recent leak is allowing fans of the animated series to take a closer look at the core mechanics of the title.
The video is a little shaky but it is easy to see the abilities of the various characters and how Obsidian is trying to mix the comic characters and abilities with some solid actual tactics.
The Stick of Truth has had a troubled development, which was made even tougher by the downfall of original publisher THQ.
At the moment, Ubisoft says that it plans to launch the game on the PC and on current-gen consoles at some point in early 2014.
The game will allow a player to create a character and then side with one faction in the game and defeat their enemies via tactics-driven battles.
