Namco Bandai has announced that Soulcalibur: Lost Swords will be out for the PlayStation 3 on February 6, 2014, in Japan.

Soulcalibur: Lost Swords is a free-to-play fighting game, based on Soulcalibur V, that will feature single-player-only gameplay and will be distributed through the PlayStation Network.

According to the latest teaser trailer posted on Namco Bandai's YouTube channel, the upcoming PlayStation 3 weapon-based brawler will include Ivy as a playable character, joining the previously announced Mitsurugi, Siegfried and Sophitia.

Soulcalibur: Lost Swords will feature a total of seven playable fighters, and will come with a couple of new perks, including allowing players to customize weapons and imbue them with the power of elements.

Each weapon in Soulcalibur: Lost Swords will have an element and various strengths and weaknesses associated with it, and players will be able to find upgrades by defeating enemies during the game's mission-based single-player campaign.
