Sony has just posted the launch trailer for Sorcery, the PS Move-enabled magic simulator that has just appeared on the PlayStation 3 console.

Sorcery is set to be among the few titles with PlayStation Move support of the year, so you can bet that Sony wants to hype it up in order to attract customers who bought the motion control peripheral since its release two years ago.

We’ve seen and heard quite a lot about the game, but now everything’s been condensed into a launch trailer that highlights both the story and the gameplay.

Throughout the narrative you’ll control a young wizard named Finn who, with the help of a mystical cat called Erline, must use his skills to vanquish an ancient evil from the world.

Players will be able to make full use of the PS Move motion control system in a variety of mini-games, so check out the gameplay footage above.

Sorcery is out today, May 22, in North America, and Friday, May 25, in Europe and the rest of the world.
