14 DAY TRIAL // Video game developer Disney announces that the new piece of launched content for its Disney Infinity is Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey, a character that will be able to embark on a new adventure, Magical Escape, and earn a new bonus item for players.
The team explains that, “Feeling mischievous? Join Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey's spellbinding high jinks. With his magic sweep and bursts, he's got more moves under his Sorcerer's hat than a wizard in a wand shop. Abracadabra!”
The toys and game mix has been very successful for the video game division of Disney, which has reported a profit for the last quarter.
Rumors are suggesting that the company is currently looking to add Marvel comics and Star Wars content to Disney Infinity, although it is not clear whether it will continue to launch DLC or it is working on a full sequel.
The game is facing tough competition from the Skylanders franchise that Activision has created.
