Sony has just unveiled the upcoming Driveclub PlayStation 4 bundle, due out later this year, when Evolution Studios' driving simulation game starts shipping.

The unveil has been made on the European PlayStation Blog, showing the image of the hardware packaging and revealing its price tag of €440 / $598. The bundle will include Driveclub, a PlayStation 4 next-gen computer entertainment system, and a DualShock 4 controller, and will be available in Europe when the game launches.

Pre-orders are already open through select retailers, and Sony has not yet mentioned anything about a similar offer being made available for North American customers.

The developers have said that they didn't try to achieve 60 frames per second and instead opted to deliver the game running in 1080p resolution and at 30 frames per second in order to offer a more realistically detailed visual experience.

In addition to this, the engine sounds in the game are of such good quality that BMW and Mercedes has requested that Evolution Studios send in their recordings for the manufacturers to replace their own.

All-in-all, even though the game is coming out a little bit later than initially expected, it's bound to deliver a very polished driving experience with an unprecedented level of detail.

Driveclub is coming out on October 7 in North America, October 8 in Europe, and October 10 in the United Kingdom, exclusively for the PlayStation 4 platform.
