14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at the Japanese studios of Sony has delivered the first trailer for its upcoming video game Panopticon, which is supposed to get more details in a presentation on May 21.
The game has been teased via a single site that was revealed a few weeks ago and the trailer, while suitably impressive and heroic, fails to offer any clear information on the potential plot or the actual mechanics.
There are some elements that suggest a team-based approach similar to that of Monster Hunter and some fans have pointed to Shin Megami Tensei as another source of inspiration.
It’s unclear whether the new title will only be offered on the Japanese market or if Sony also wants to deliver it to the West.
Panopticon will probably be a PlayStation 4 project or Sony might be creating a franchise that starts on the PS3 before moving to other devices.
