The development team working on the upcoming PlayStation 4 home console at Sony is offering details on the way players will be able to use their smartphones in order to make a game purchase and then launch it as soon as they get access to the device.

Shuhei Yoshida, the leader of the Sony Worldwide Studios, writes on Twitter that “When you buy a PS4 game on smartphone, it will wake your PS4 up to start downloading the game. PS4 goes back to sleep after that.”

The process is designed to make it easy and fast to pick up a PlayStation 4 game, but some players might be unwilling to allow the console to download content when they are not present.

The PS4 will be launched on November 15 in North America, and Europe and South America will get access to the device on November 29.
