When asked about the Online Pass system and how it will be incorporated in the upcoming Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception title, Sony confirmed that the PSN Pass will be used in all future titles published by it on the PlayStation 3.

Online Passes are being adopted by more and more publishers these days, who want to protect their titles from falling prey to the used game market or at least gain a profit from second hand gamers that can't access things like the online multiplayer without paying a certain fee.

Sony introduced its own version, the PSN Pass, with Resistance 3 in September and will use it with Uncharted 3 next month, as well as with future games from its own studios, according to Destructoid.

"Online Pass will be incorporated into Uncharted 3 and future Sony Worldwide Studios (SCE WWS) games with online functionality," the company said, confirming that more details will appear in the future.
