Sony has just taken the wraps off a new IP called Bloodborne, which would not be familiar in any way were it not for the previous leaks that hit the Internet a few weeks ago.

We have already reported on the so-called “Project Beast,” Sony's secret game, but not many details were known at that time, aside from the few screenshots taken from a gameplay trailer.

Today, Sony confirmed that From Software would be bringing the new Bloodborne IP to life, which looks to be Demon's Souls' spiritual successor.

Developed by Hidetaka Miyazaki and From Software, Bloodborne has been confirmed to arrive on PlayStation 4 sometime in 2015.

Unfortunately, aside from a gorgeous dark trailer, nothing has been revealed about Bloodborne. However, Sony promised it would share more details on their new IP later this week, probably after E3 or in the last days of the show. Hopefully, that will happen sooner rather than later.

We'll be sure to follow up with any new information Sony makes available in the next few days, so stay tuned for additional details on Bloodborne, especially if you're a Demon's Souls fan. Moreover, be sure to check out the game's official trailer embedded below.
